Tiny Terrapin Art Studio was founded with the mission to provide creative, exploratory, playful, and accessible visual art experiences for children and families throughout Rhode Island.

We believe that all children should have opportunities to create artwork based on their own ideas and curiosities, explore art materials with a playful and joyful approach, and be exposed to contemporary art and artists.

Our philosophy to art teaching and learning is grounded in experimentation, play, process art experiences, material exploration, meaningful relationships between children and adults, respect for children, and honoring the voices and ideas of young people.
